Forest xylophone
This forest xylophone was created to promote NTT Docomo’s Touch Wood SH-08C wooden-encased phone. As the wooden ball rolls down through the wood, dropping onto each wooden key, it plays a note, and suddenly we are hearing Bach’s Cantata 147 (i’m not sure about that, but according to nytimes it does).
Enjoy.

Copenhagen summerdance

Last night I went to a free open air dance event in the beautiful surroundings of the Copenhagen Police Headquarters, with modern dance hosted by Dansk danseteater. I think it’s the first time I have witnessed this kind of entertainment, and I liked it. The play was divided into several smaller acts lasting from 4 to 15 minutes. Beijing Dance Theater was the nights biggest experience, with mind blowing music and incredible choreography.
Playing in the Copenhagen Police Headquarters
Monday 9th – Sunday 15th August:
Kl. 20:30. Gates open 19:00.
Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th August:
Kl. 14:30. Gates opens 13:00.

Liquid Mountaineering

For centuries, humans have been trying to solve the puzzle: How did Mr. Jesus walk on water? These guys seems to think they know how. They started a “new” sport called Liquid Mountaineering, which is basically running on water. I was laughing my ass off when I saw it. Who is up for the challenge at Amager strandpark this summer?
The sport is all about running on water. Science tells us that with the right angle and speed anything can bounce off the surface of water for some time before it sinks. The perfect example is of a rock that when thrown with the right amount of speed, spin and angle, it starts bouncing on water and touches the surface many times before sinking. If we could follow the same set of rules that enable the rock to bounce, we can bounce too.
Fake or not. I think it is hilarious.

Upular
Since I heard this remix from pogo for the first time last week, I haven’t been able to get it of my mind. It simply sum up the entire movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, please do! Pixar rules.

Neurosonics Audiomedical Laboratories
This cool video is created for “Neurosonic Audiomedical Laboratories” by a collaboration of Foreign Beggars, The Scratch Pervert, Shlomo and Will Clarke. It is directed by Chris Cairns from Partizan Labs and I think it’s marvelous! I love it! After browsing Partizans portfolio I fell over some other cool stuff. Check it out yourself or see a animation with skating babies (yay!) after the jump.

We giggle every day when visiting FYVM

Tumblr-blogs is becoming a daily pleasure for me. For a long time I have been reading blogs containing lots of photos and writing. These tumblr-blogs I wanna show you is simple, fun and quick. For a couple of months I followed Fuck You Very Much (FYVM) without knowing that my friend Kristoffer (en7oy) actually was one of the two bright people behind. FYVM is sort of a visual diary where Kris and his friend Sine (?) is posting photos with a one-line description of their thoughts about the photo. Everytime new pics are posted I giggle and smile, I think you will to! Also follow them on twitter. Two other tumblrs I think you should take a look at is threeframes.net and theimpossiblecool. Anyone who knows other great quickies, please share??

An excuse for throwing away ideas

I love this. If you’re bored at work or just brainstorming bad ideas, you can just crumble up a piece of paper and you can play soccer, rugby, or throw a tennis ball in your garbage basket. Made by dutch design company Trapped in suburbia.

We ♥ colors
Wow. This video is putting me to sleep tonight! I love the blank paper surface, and the way the 3D is emerging from it. So many magnificent colors and scenes. It’s called White Box by Makoto Yabuki. Sleep tight.

Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl
Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl.
In 1955 Enfield of India started assembling Bullet motorcycles under license from UK components, and by 1962 they were manufacturing complete bikes. My friend Sonny got his some time ago and promised me a backseat with plenty of wind and great view. While traveling in India he was able to buy super cool handmade leather helmets. Today he picked me up at Kongens Nytorv after work and we rrrroad to Halvlandet and enjoyed a smoothie and the company of each other. Imagine your own story with some help from my biker-nokia-vintage-pictures and more Bob Dylan after the jump.
