Young and golden danish lions
Art Directors Nicolai Villads and Peter Ammentorp, who is fresh out of DJMX: Creative Communication, recently won TWO awards in Cannes. Young Cannes Lions and Future Lions with this fictitious case created for the Book Publishing company: Penguin Books. I don’t want to explain the concept, they do that much better themselves in the video above. I think the idea is perfect. Congratulations young danish lions!

EYE’am proud of my tumblr
I have been thinking a lot about mobile photography and my tumblr blog, the last couple of days. I was contacted by an old friend, who told me about the EYE’EM mobile photography award, which is “an international competition dedicated to the rise of mobile phone photography as a new artform.” All the winning images will be exhibited in an Award Exhibition in Schlechtriem gallery in Berlin around June, and a book will be produced. Looking through the competitors I can see, that there are amazing photographers in the competition. So many beautiful images.
For me it is not about megapixels, sharpness or colors. That can be done with a big, clumsy Nikon. It is about moments.

Young Creative Circle Awards
A couple of weeks ago, my brother and I competed in the annual YCCA for our first time. Since either of us are working with posters design or advertising, we did not expect to win, just to have fun. And it was fun indeed. After 24 hours we sent the poster above as our contribution. A lot of liquid and junk where consumed, and we had many great laughs and fun ideas during the night. You can read the brief here. It’s cool to see so different and brilliant ideas, talented people I must say.

MORE AFTER THE JUMP
When i’m 50
With the danger of this soon becoming a vimeo blog, i post the video “Lost Generation?”. In august 2007, the video was runder-up in a competition on youtube called U@50. Basically the task was to create a short video about how they expect their lives as 50 year olds.
