New thinking

I think I have seen my share of video projections, but this one is without question the best! It’s a horizontal and vertical 3D video projection for Hyundai Accent campaign “New thinking. New Possibilities.” Can you imagine witnessing something like this on eg. City hall in Copenhagen? I would go buy the car the next morning. Mind blowing.
Long time no see friends.

Forest xylophone
This forest xylophone was created to promote NTT Docomo’s Touch Wood SH-08C wooden-encased phone. As the wooden ball rolls down through the wood, dropping onto each wooden key, it plays a note, and suddenly we are hearing Bach’s Cantata 147 (i’m not sure about that, but according to nytimes it does).
Enjoy.

To discover in the future

This pop-up book animation for JP Morgan Chase by Psyop and Smuggler is very well executed. I love the different angles, the mood and the small details like when the water hose sprinkling, the leaves blowing in the wind, the snowball thrown through the air etc. Love it.

Young and golden danish lions

Art Directors Nicolai Villads and Peter Ammentorp, who is fresh out of DJMX: Creative Communication, recently won TWO awards in Cannes. Young Cannes Lions and Future Lions with this fictitious case created for the Book Publishing company: Penguin Books. I don’t want to explain the concept, they do that much better themselves in the video above. I think the idea is perfect. Congratulations young danish lions!
The illustrations where created in Adobe Illustrator, animated using After Effects and final edit in Final Cut Pro 2

Before going out

In my opinion it is important that you are able to look after your fellow citizens. It is important that you can provide your help if it is needed. Nevertheless I tend to forget some of the details I got in a lifesaving-course a year ago. This might help me remember. Before going out tonight. Watch and remember.

Mom! Look what I made
Rasmus Smith Bech and Jonas Roth, who finished at The Graphic Art Institute of Denmark last year, have just updated their crisp yet still young portfolio: Mom! Look what I made.
The two creative guys have been working at the danish bureau Zupa from 2009-2010, and they are currently working at the creative agency KesselsKramer in Amsterdam(Their website is hilarious. So fucked up). I must admit, that I do not know that much about the agency, but their office in Amsterdam looks amazing. Apparently they built a small fort inside an old church. Anyway, I suggest that you take a look at Rasmus and Jonas’ portfolio, and follow them closely. I bet we will be seeing crazy stuff from them in the future.
The video above is a TV commercial by the two guys for SEAT, currently running on danish television.

Hello ladies
We’re not saying this body wash will make your man smell into a romantic millionaire jet fighter pilot, but we are insinuating it.

Cute dogs and slow treats is viral gold
Pedigree released this viral video last month, with dogs in slow-motion catching treats. What could be better? I am crazy about it, and I felt like eating one myself. Maybe other people felt the same way, because over 2 million already seen it on YouTube. It is a great example of how simple and great viral marketing is.

Nike SB

The other day we wrote about Nike SB’s Debacle project, and here’s a new fresh skateboarding video from Nike featuring professional skateboarder Paul Rodriguez. I’m amazed every time Nike does something with viral advertising, it always comes along with special feeling. This video is a storytelling video of a skateboarder having a damn good day. The music, which is by Ice Cube, is soothing and the meeting with Kobe Bryant and Ice Cube makes it fun as well. You should also check out some of the behind the scenes videos

Debacle

A couple of weeks ago Nike Skateboarding launched a HD video project where people could download the first ever high-definition skateboarding video! I was on vacation last week so unfortunately I only had time to download the video myself and not share this wonderful information with our followers. Nike’s “Debacle”, could be downloaded for free at 720p, 480p or for the iPod but only for a limited period! (8 days or so) The incredible footage, was shot and edited in 10 months, and the 24-minute video features amateurs Justin Brock, Daryl Angel, David Clark, Grant Taylor, Shane O’Neill and Theotis Beasley, but in my opinion these guys are no amateurs. Check out the video from behind the scenes.

Let’s honor the effort
Let’s set the week of with a fun commercial from Barclays Bank. What..? … A nice bank commercial? Yep, this one, I got from some twitter, and it actually made me giggle and not throw up. I like the part where he tries to run down to the subway or when he smashes into the big wall. With the danger of being mocked and as nerdy as it may sound, it reminds me of “The Matrix”, which was a film I was a big fan of. Created by the agency: Venables Bell & Partners. Creative Directors: Paul Venables, Tom Scharpf. It seems like Barcleys Bank isn’t saving money on advertising. View more great ads with actors like Anthony Hopkins and Samuel L. Jackson after the jump!
